Twenty fixtures carry the Miuara name in this catalogue. Seventeen are fireclay sinks for kitchens, laundry rooms, islands and bars, ranging from an 18-inch square bar bowl to a pair of 36-inch apron models. The remaining three belong in the bathroom: two pedestal basins in vitreous china and a two-piece elongated toilet with an extra tall seat.
The range is aimed squarely at people fitting a sink to a known cabinet. Kitchen sizes are tied to base cabinet widths of 27, 30, 33, 36 and 39 inches, and most kitchen bowls come with a stainless steel bottom grid and a strainer. Buyers looking for stainless steel sinks, colors beyond white and Matte Black, or faucets will not find them here.
Construction that repeats across Miuara sinks
Fireclay is the common body of every kitchen bowl. One firing figure turns up model after model: a kiln temperature above 2600℉ held for 26 hours, on the 30 and 33-inch white farmhouse sinks, the Matte Black 33 x 18 and the 27-inch single bowl. Several bowls add an Italy glaze over fine natural fireclay, and the 33-inch workstation pairs clay from Europe with that glaze.
Thickness is the second constant. On the large apron models the walls or bottom measure three quarters of an inch, which explains both the weight and the one plumbing catch: the disposer flange has to be a deep one to pass through. Inside corners are rounded rather than square, with radii of R10, R15 or R20 by model.
What changes from sink to sink is size, finish and the apron face. The white farm sinks are glossy, and three apron models come in Matte Black. Some aprons are glazed on both long faces, the 30-inch workstation flips between smooth and fluted, and the double bowl is offered with either front.
How to read the sizes before ordering
Three numbers matter on every sink: outer size, inner size or depth, and the minimum base cabinet. Outer size is the footprint the countertop or cabinet has to accept. Inner size is the usable basin, and on most kitchen models it is 9 inches deep; the 24-inch small sink goes to 10.
The minimum cabinet figure has two parts, width and depth, and both apply. A 33 x 18 farm sink needs 36 inches of width and 21 of depth, while a 33 x 20 sink keeps that width but asks for 24 inches of depth. When your cabinet clears the width but falls short on depth, look at the 18-inch version of the same size instead.
Bathroom pieces are matched by different numbers. Each pedestal basin is chosen by faucet drilling and drain size: the drain hole is 1⅝ inches on the 23-inch basin and 1.75 on the 22-inch one. The toilet depends on a 12-inch rough-in and stands 29 inches deep, so floor depth in front of the wall matters as much as the plumbing.
Who the Miuara range suits, and who it does not
Kitchens built on standard base cabinets get the most from this range, since each farm sink width steps up with the cabinet. Cooks who wash large cookware have two 36-inch apron sinks with 34 and 34.25 inches of inner width, plus the 33-inch drop-in for big pans and barbecue grates. The two workstation sinks suit anyone who preps over the bowl, with a cutting board and drying rack included.
Some kitchens are a poor match. The smallest main kitchen sink, at 24 inches, still needs a 27-inch cabinet, and the 18-inch bar sink is a second bowl for islands, coffee stations and outdoor bars rather than a main sink. A 21-inch-deep cabinet rules out every 20-inch-deep farm sink. Fireclay is heavy, several models need a frame built for a heavy-duty sink, and the 33-inch drop-in takes two people to move.
The bathroom group is small. Two pedestal basins and one toilet cover compact bathrooms, laundry areas and restrooms, with no vanity tops or wall-hung basins alongside them. If the floor drain is not at a 12-inch rough-in, the toilet is the wrong choice.
Mounting, warranty and other limits
Mounting is not universal across the line. Most apron sinks are made for an apron-front install, and only the white 33 x 18 and the Matte Black 33 x 20 also allow an undermount fit. Among the counter-set bowls, the 32 x 19, 27-inch and 24-inch sinks are dual mount on a 1.5-inch deck, the 32-inch double bowl takes undermount or topmount, and the 33-inch drop-in is topmount only.
Six models come with a named limited warranty: three years on both pedestal basins, the bar sink, the 24-inch small sink and the 33-inch drop-in, and two years on the 30-inch workstation.
Daily care is simple because the glaze is fired on and easy to clean. The bottom grid handles the heavier jobs, so cast iron and roasting pans rest on steel instead of glaze.
